Blue Waters Island as the name suggests, Bluewaters Island (or Blue Water Island Dubai) is one of the most impressive man-made islands in Dubai located off the coast of JBR. It is a multi-billion project by Meraas featuring the world’s largest observation wheel, Ain Dubai. Located opposite The Beach, the island is also gearing to become a top tourist site in Dubai with a range of leisure facilities, beach activities, luxurious resorts and restaurants. Moreover, the master plan includes 132 retail shops, Caesars Palace and the happening Cove Beach.

The waterfront development was launched back in 2013 and the main contractors were Van Oord, Hyundai Contracting and Starneth Engineering. Approved by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, it is one of the best master-planned residential islands in Dubai offering luxurious waterfront properties.

.At a glimpse, Blue Water Island Dubai is all about beachfront living, luxurious properties, resort-like amenities and tourist hotspots. The project was opened to the public in 2018 while handovers for the residential properties had begun in March 2017. There are 10 mid-rise residential buildings, each having 15 floors above the ground. There are retail stores and F&B outlets on the ground floor of these buildings beside the dedicated retail centre. With luxury amenities and properties on offer, it is one of the most expensive areas to live in Dubai.

It is one of the iconic projects by Meeras in Dubai. Once the project is completed, it will boast 10 residential buildings, 2 luxury hotels, 2,400 parking spaces and 164 retail, dining and entertainment outlets. The network of pedestrian bridges and main roads will keep the island connected to the mainland.

One of the top waterfront communities in Dubai offers a wide range of properties facing the pristine beaches. Residential properties include apartments offering sea views and townhouses at the podium levels. There are around 698 apartment units with luxury penthouses and an exclusive selection of 17 townhouses.
